Historian De Tocqueville observed that "In America, every political question is soon turned into a judicial one." So, owning the White House, "progressives" now stand before the grand prize, dominance of the US Supreme Court.
One more appointment by President Obama gives a five-vote leftist lock on the court. Arthur Schlesinger, Jr's book The Politics of Upheaval, warned that "If accepted without protest, unrestrained control of public policy by the Supreme Court means the end of self-government in America." Legislative and popular votes would be negated and majority will strangled, already common practice in California and other states. Of course the tyrants would continue to drape themselves in flag and social justice.
The crux is whether thinking Americans accept the choke-hold or fight back. Ancestral sacrifice, freedom for future generations, and pending slavery mandate a vigorous response. The preferred route is political revolution through the ballot box, avoiding what could be violent revolution as espoused in the Declaration of Independence.
"How terrible the thought," say some, "far better to compromise" freedom's absolutes in exchange for political success. But destroying the power of the vote is itself violence on people and nation. Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Franklin did not compromise with tyrant King George III. Neither should we with today's versions.
Reds count on mass passivity and success in demonizing those who love America. Their anti-Americanism is so deeply ingrained that anyone who disagrees with them is a "fascist." Contemptuous of "primitives," they know that a tiny fraction of one percent can rule 99%. But as with failure to take people's guns, the Left can be defeated democratically through massive majority political action. A greatly strengthened Tea Party that sweeps the 2012 elections would, for a time, save the day. The vote is all that stands between leftist death-grip and real revolution.
President Obama has 16 months to affix the iron collar, four years more if re-elected. Americans of all faiths and races must unite to stop the political heirs of Soviet Russia, the Durbins, Schumers, Pelosis, and comrades in media and academia, from killing this great country.
